Description
Long, cold maceration during the winemaking process gives a wine with deep garnet colour and a lovely freshness. There’s flavours of red fruits and spice on the palate and a great balance of elegance and power in this peppery syrah.
The winery ‘La Grand Comtadine’ was built in 1924. The Burgundians Mr Paul Misset and his son-in-law Denis Cheron settled there in 1960. They brought their knowledge to the local passionate vine growers with which they have expanded the winemaking activity. Today, Yves Cheron, his daughter Elisa (the fifth generation) and their team keep making wine with the same desires and beliefs of value sharing.
