Description
Lychee is a tropical and subtropical fruit native to China and Southeast Asia. Here, it was cultivated as early as 2000 BC and is said to have been among the most sought-after delicacies at the Chinese imperial court. The redder the skin, the tastier the fruit. The white, juicy pulp can be eaten fresh or used to prepare tasty sorbets, but it also lends itself very well to pairing with other fruits.
