Red and heart-shaped, strawberries have always been considered a symbol of love. According to Roman mythology, the fruit was born from the tears of Venus. They are also used in cooking, for example to prepare strawberry risotto, but it is in the realm of desserts that they excel over any other fruit. Strawberries are used to prepare ice cream, milkshakes, mousses, yoghurt, cakes and creams.
