Description
Delightful cherry red colour with a hint of purple. The nose reveals fragrances of black fruits, blackcurrant and blackberry. Complex spice flavours of liquorice and pepper enhance the palate. Full bodied, rounded and smooth.
The winery ‘La Grand Comtadine’ was built in 1924. The Burgundians Mr Paul Misset and his son-in-law Denis Cheron settled there in 1960. They brought their knowledge to the local passionate vine growers with which they have expanded the winemaking activity. Today, Yves Cheron, his daughter Elisa (the fifth generation) and their team keep making wine with the same desires and beliefs of value sharing.
