This powerful red blends Okuzgozu, Bogazkere, Carignan and Alicante grapes to produce a structured and complex wine. Dark purple in colour with aromas of dark berry fruit, violet and spice, perfect with grilled meats.
Established in 1929 as the first private sector wine producer in Turkey, Kavaklidere Wines is now one of the leading wineries in the country. Still family run, they have three different wineries across the country and produce wines from both international grape varieties and native Turkish varieties.
